GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday took GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney to task for his past as a self-described “independent” who claimed he did not want to “return to the days of Reagan-Bush.
Santorum, speaking to supporters at the Jelly Belly factory – which had honored President Ronald Reagan in the past for promoting the jelly bean – asked which candidate would be pull together the “Reagan coalition” and win swings states, which are “vitally important” for winning the presidential election.(Snip)
“Governor Romney said that after the Etch-a-Sketch flap that he was going to run as a conservative in the fall. I’m not going to run as a conservative in the fall. I am a conservative, period,” Santorum said.

Absolutely, fight your heart out Rick! Rick's the only one who can stop Romney now and it's critical that Romney be stopped. Otherwise I fear he'll come up with some form of Romneycare even if SCOTUS rules against it. He believes in it, he's said so.
How can people keep voting for the same crap over and over again?
Santorum has to persevere, no matter how it looks. We all
realize “pride” keeps us from changing, yes, there are
exceptions but prayer is stronger.

I’m a Conservative only from now on.
I still don’t know why this man thought he should run for POTUS. Did he look in the mirror one morning and think, “Hey! I may not be the smartest bulb in the box, but I’m as smart as the average American. They elected Obama. Hey! They just might vote for me too.”

Although not in Wisconsin, I did make pro-Santorum comments and appeals today in the “Comments” section of three of the larger Wisconsin newspapers. May not make any difference, but I do what I can.

We have to get to the convention first. That means Rick needs to take WI. Let's get it done and choose our own candidate at the convention.
