Television commentator Keith Olbermann has been fired by Current TV, the network's founders said on Friday, after just a year with the network.
The founders of the public affairs TV channel, former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore and his business partner Joel Hyatt, announced Olbermann's departure in an open letter. "Current was ... founded on the values of respect, openness, collegiality, and loyalty to our viewers. Unfortunately these values are no longer reflected in our relationship with Keith Olbermann and we have ended it," they said.

One day soon, we will most likely be reading Keith Olbermann’s obituary about how he hung/shot himself in his apartment. You can tell just by his mentality he well on his way to ending his sad, pathetic, existence. The only question is whether or not it will occur before or after we read a similar obituary on Charlie Sheen croaking on a drug OD.
The roster of “Worst Persons in the Worrrrrrrrrrld” grows larger still.
It’s probably several times larger than Keith’s audience at this point.

But without Olbermann, Current TV could lose a substantial portion of their audience. Maybe even dozens of viewers!

It started out as "Viewer Supplied Content". It was really good, but not profitable. Freepers hate it because of Al Gore's involvement.
