Same here...

As for Zimmerman getting arrested, I have said here many times that I don't think he will and that, based on what we "know", he shouldn't.

On a 101st note...I have a good friend, young enough to be my son, who was a squad leader with 1/187 in Iraq in 2003. My wife and I adopted his squad.

I met him in the DMZ in ROK when he was TDY to the Battalion Scouts and I was researching a film. He was assigned to keep me from stepping on something nasty.

I ran into him again in 2002 at the BNCOC at Benning. He was going through the program and, because of other things I had done, I was invited to be OpFor at the MOUT and in the field phase. I spent half a dozen years doing that twice a year.

My friend got really banged up in November 2003. He was at Walter Reed for a very long time. My wife and I drove down there once a month and opened a bar tab at the steak house where the guys ate for free on Fridays. We used to see freeper Concrete Bob there. I would tell the barkeep to close it out when it hit $500.

I have other experience of interaction with CID but that's for a different day.

Bless you, good seeing you again and thanks for keeping me honest.

Wait until autopsy and forensic are released. Cboldt assured me that we will see them even if it doesn't go to trial. We'll talk again then

Here's to other families moving past denial and son's everywhere living long healthy lives.

May the healing begin.
