It's an eye opening experience for a Brit returning to her hometown to witness firsthand the growing muslim extremism in Britain.
Yeah, I noticed that it aired as an hour-long episode on one of the BBC channels. I’d like to see the rest of it.

This programme was discussed a few weeks ago.
I must be one of the few Freepers to have actually watched the whole programme. And I point out what I pointed out then.
1—That this disgusting Muslim mob numbered just 100 idiots/scum in a town where 30000 of the population is Muslim (Luton is essentially a London overspill). Now 30000 Muslims may be too many in a British town, but that is a seperate issue of immigration numbers.
So, as disgusting as these idiots are, they thankfully are a tiny minority even in their own town. Let alone in the country. The other 29,900 Muslims are not extremists and by large will be decent, law abiding people who happen to follow the Islamic faith.
2—Watch the WHOLE programme if you can. And you get to see that for every scumbag Muslim in Luton, there are plenty of decent Muslims. Ms Dooley talks to plenty of (thankfully) level headed, decent Muslim youth who dont see Jihad and hatred as the answer.

Major postwar immigration to Britain started in 1948, with the black, Christian Afro-caribbean ‘windrush’ generation. To be followed in the 50’s and 60’s by Indian, Pakistani and more Caribbean immigrants. And from 1948 to the late 60’s and early 70’s, there was little racial and religious problem in the UK. What was was relatively minor.
WHAT has caused the problem is the late 60’s. In the late 60’s, as in the US, the politically correct leftist brigade hijacked immigration, race, gender, sexuality etc. As far as immigration, race and Islam goes, what happened and has happened is that immigrant policy was to embrace multiculturalism, and that meant in effect leaving immigrant communities to themselves, which has meant 30-40 years of isolation and self-segregation, and that allows the Abu Hamzas and all the other scumbag idiots to preach their ideas of isolation from the infidel.
If one man is to blame for this, blame Roy Jenkins. A man under whose ‘watch’ many of the disasterous late 60’s ‘progressive’ policies, from immigration and race to divorce and welfare, sprang forth.

To be fair to 1945-51 Labour, what they tried to create was famously called a ‘new jerusalem’ for the British troops coming home: new housing, the NHS, better standard of living all round. Much of it admirable, even necessary.
Attlee et al never would have argued for or wanted the indolent, work dodging, sexually loose, violent underclass that the UK has today. Nor the idiotic ultra-PC policies of Labour govts (esp 1964-70, 74-79, and 1997-2010) that have allowed such a state of affairs. The older Labour of the first half of the century actually valued work, family, morality etc.
At worst, I think the postwar Labour policies may be seen as misguided, flawed with the best of intentions, but I wouldnt blame them for what happened twenty years later, or now.
And I say that as a Tory.

The British Govt and Jordan are currently discussing the deportation of him, and I am sure, albeit far too slowly imo, that we will send him back in a few weeks.

1—Handguns were banned in 1997, with some exceptions.
Rifles and shotguns are not. Assault rifles are banned.
2-Sharia Law only exists in five English cities, as civil law only. Just like Jewish Beth Din, which has been here for over 100 years. It has not been expanded, and does not exist in Scotland, Wales, and NI. Nor any English town or city bar those five. Legally, like Beth Din, it cannot supercede English law.
Sharia law has made it’s in road.The camel has it’s nose in the tent. It’ll soon have its whole arse in there.
