I think it’s a damn shame that 4 Justices are a given to uphold the law simply because of their politics. If they really did their job and interpreted the Constitution it would not be a slam dunk. In fact, they’d probably have to overturn it.

How did we get here?

simply to improve someone's life. . . .

You could improve everyone's life by participating in the discussion here instead of just pimping your blog crap.

How about summarizing your point instead of requiring folks to click your blog?

Give it a shot. See the "reply" button?

Isn’t it ironic that the guy who will likely put an end to national healthcare in the U.S. is named Kennedy?

It wouldn't have the majority if Kagan had recused herself as she should have IMO

OR if the SCOTUS fails to uphold the Constitution, the WORK TO DESTROY OBAMACARE does not end.

Remember, this is ONLY a judicial solution. We can also kill it via the legislature.

Never say die on this, folks. Never.

Whatever they do will surprises. The Court is also at a crossroads. How the supposed co-equal third branch of government fits into the scheme of things. Congress controls their budgets and filling vacancies. The President also has great sway over their funding and of course appointments. They can be impeached. Court sees the sweeping power grab and wonders if they will be next in terms of encroachment on power. The hungry federal govt has gutted states rights and perrogatives, and is now after total control of every aspect of individual citizens’ lives. No longer “we the people” or “The united states” but totaly answerable to the hungry maw in DC. The Court better be creative and smart.

Why has the discussion not become changing the 10th amendment to clarify what and how it effects commerce! I would think that the ultimate fix would be changes to this amendment. Tired of constantly challenging the liberals so they can attempt to pass their own interpretations over the ideas (plainly expressed by the way) of the Constitution.

Dental Care: Does ObamaCare cover routine visits to the dentist?

What about serious dental work like root canal work or other dental surgery?

Supreme Court Justices and other judges: Do Supreme Court Justices and all other judges have to join ObamaCare, or do they have special treatment and are exempt?

Thanks.

I just saw a “crawl” on Fox that the court ruled 5-4 that strip searches can be allowed for any offense even if there’s no suspicion of contraband. Kennedy wrote the majority decision saying the court should not second guess the correctional authorities.

Was the case about prison searches? I hope so.
