I damned sure haven't heard enough to form a solid opinion one way or the other.
If Zimmerman had been killed the mantra would be, courageous black youth stops crazed redneck gunman.
I have the feeling, from conversations on a local forum, that some "conservatives" would rather throw Zimmerman to the wolves than risk race riots. American law is being held hostage by thugs, foreign and domestic, making threats of violence.
Here is my take on it.
Zimmerman = Not Guilty but not exactly smart in how he handled the situation
Trayvion = Guilty of Assault and dumb as a box of rocks for attacking Zimmerman which lead to his death.
Both parties in this siuation “acted stuipidly” and they each earned their end result to some degree.
That is precisely what they mean when they chant “no justice, no peace”...just a not-so-veiled threat of another race riot.
