My cousin is in the Army for 6 years now and he said the vast majority of younger troops(and many of the older ones) don't think it is that big of a deal having to serve with gays. They grew up in the "gay is ok culture" Because while in school they were not allowed to speak their mind. They had it forced on them. A lot of people are afraid to speak out for fear of ostracized.
