At the beginning of the school year, gay pride events at a military academy with titles like "condom Olympics" and "queer prom" would have been unthinkable. This week, they're a reality. Cadets in uniform at Norwich University, the nation's oldest private military academy, participated Monday in sessions about handling bullying and harassment as part of the school's first gay pride week. The events are believed to be the first of their kind on a military campus.

Depends on the rules of each institution, but is likely limited to "attendance" (at a formation or to hear a speech) and not participation.
The Cadets can also show their displeasure/disapproval in a variety of ways: singing a jodie while marching, shouting something when called to attention, etc. If significant numbers join in to the point of mutiny, the Commandant will have to act to restore order (preferably focus on esprit de corps)... or have no Corps.
A cadet mutiny can be an ugly thing. Even young men taught discipline & obedience to orders will revolt en masse when something truly disgusts their sense of what is normal & right.
“Cadet justice” is also a term to be feared. May be brought to bear in this case. Don’t count them out, yet.

A conservative military would oppose it.
Packing the military, both the rank-and-file and the high command, with Leftist/Democrat supporters would solve this problem for them.
Tailhook was BAD.
How can this be GOOD?
Good point. The left seeks to destroyed ALL institutions opposing them: the church, America, the military, the Republicans....
A muntiny doesn’t necessarily have to be (or get) ugly to get the point across, and could be a very educational exercise for both the Corps and the Commandant with regards to future officers thinking about the orders they’re given.
Although my girl was previously in Young Marines (still a great organization), I’ve told her I will do nothing to facilitate her entry into the military later and will actively discourage it.
While we prance and make fools of ourselves our enemies watch and wait.......
The facilitators at the top are the ones who need to be arrested and imprisoned. The lower echelon will take care of themselves with HIV.
*Dont ask, don't tell* has become *quit braggin.*
