“equally difficult to occupy as afghanis. You and I both know americans would be easier to occupy than afghanis.”

I highly recommend a movie called “the Beast” or similar about Soviet tank and crew in Afghanistan being pursued, attacked and killed. Learn some tactics and motivational skills.

I agree

Most governors will recall their guard. And I cannot and will not believe that the military would fire on its own people.

And if this be the plan why the reduction of the military? Would you not wish to make it larger if you had some plan to us them against Americans?

All I know is that I watched a video of a TSA agent molesting a child in his wheel chair and daddy thanking him when the thug finally released his family from the search. Pretty sick. It was like, “Thank you Mr. thug, for molesting my son because he’s in a body cast.”

Americans would jump off a cliff if authority figures, “agents”, told them to do it. They would murder each other at the drop of a hat if told to do so.

All the Feds need to is cook up a demon story about the arrested Govenor, run it through Marxist enternatinment and news, and Americans will don hoodies, demanding his immediate murder.

Americans, in the majority, are totally twisted these days. O baaaaaa ma. O baaaaaa ma.

Almost half the population would take the government side no matter what, it sends them checks.

Much of the rest would not want to be noticed.

Very few people, relatively speaking, would take up arms AGAINST the government. Hopefully it’d be enough.

That is the beauty of a republic. If your state pulls out of the USA then the Federal Govt no longer is "your" govt. anymore. Hehe.

For this is the way of the enemy and we should never stoop to their low and bloody tactics, whether in word or deed.

Our enemies are barbarians and murderers.

Their defeat can be accomplished with nothing short of a level of devastation reminiscent of the Old Testament.

But even that will not destroy them; they are animated by the darkest evil that inhabits men's souls; the best we can hope for is to drive them into "remission" for a generation or two.

The IRA never had more than about 300 members in “Active Service Units”.

They kept Northern Ireland in chaos for decades.

How does one go about finding out if your state guard/militia is under your own state Governor as you mentioned, vs. part of national guard? If it ever came down to this, I believe an organized resistance under authorized local/state leadership would be successful, whereas just “lone wolf” individuals would not (yes -against roving bands of barbarians, but not so successful against an organized federal force coming through communities and kicking down doors with their co-ordinated communications, drones, and whatever else we may be facing.) Plus it is Biblical to respect authority and if you have an authorized righteous local government that is standing up to an evil, wicked, fraudulent government you are actually doing right at that point. I hope my state’s guard/militia is set up this way but don’t know even where to look to find out.

Oh really? To take on the entire San Francisco Bay Area of 12 million people, all I would need is about 50 guys with armored vehicles, automatic weapons, and properly set charges. Cut the power, blow the bridges, let panic clog the exit roads with traffic, and watch the people die of smallpox. If they try to leave on foot, they won't get far, they won't be able to organize, and they won't have supplies.

Not so easy. There would initially be chaos, but many people would be able to flee. The SF peninsula is blocked by water on 3 sides, but not so in the greater Bay Area. And even with major choke points on roads on the peninsula, many out of a couple million can flee on alternative roads, or make their way through the wilderness trails along the peninsula (only a small sliver is populated). The forested areas have lots of game and fresh water lakes and streams, so smart people won't starve (smart people being the minority of conservatives here and we are armed). It is even easier to flee on the other side of the bay.

I've lived and hiked in all parts of the Bay Area all my life. I have done detailed habitat restoration in this region for the last twenty years. I know this country intimately. You don't know what the hell you are talking about.

San Francisco and the peninsula are obviously landlocked, but for the most part they are soon contained by chaparral so dense you can't reasonably force your body through it. Burn it and you'd have a conflagration with easy pickings thereafter. There's no summer water on most of that land and almost nothing to eat because it is so heavily overstocked with decadent oak/madrone woodland. To take the crowd down, all it would take is a drip torch.

My wife and I spent months exploring escape routes out of the South Bay. The Mid-Peninsula Open Space District had allowed EVERY trail on the map that went outward to the South and West (toward our home) to become overgrown. They were all gone. To the East of the South Bay (south of Sunol) is the Diablo Range. Good luck there. Not only is there chaparral on many of the eastern slopes there's little to no water in the summer except in reservoirs where people would be easily rounded up, worse if they poison them. To the East of the Bay Area proper, after crossing the hills, again with dense chaparral is the San Ramon Valley, where they'd run into similar chaos. To the east of that it is again dry as a bone. To the North of the East Bay is the River. No crossing that.

I don't buy your contention.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you. I was born and raised here, and often use the trails. So I do think I know at the very least, something about what I’m saying. All this talk of 50 soldiers choking off 12 million people, killing them with smallpox, burning the wilderness to kill people, and poisoning the water supplies to kill everyone, is, well, the mutterings of a lunatic. But you’re entitled to your opinion. I’ll stick to more rational talk.

I know all sorts of people who fit that description who wouldn't know an edible plant in the wild if their life depended on it.

All this talk of 50 soldiers choking off 12 million people, killing them with smallpox, burning the wilderness to kill people, and poisoning the water supplies to kill everyone, is, well, the mutterings of a lunatic.

I see. No water, no sewage treatment, less than two weeks of food, no refrigeration, and you think things would be just fine.

Re smallpox: who first proposed eradicating smallpox, when were the last vaccinations, how does the immunity last, and where is the world's largest store of weaponized virus?

I take it you think such a deed beyond either communists or Islamo-fascists. I beg to differ. BTW, the case for LA is even worse.

A long history of Administrations, both Republican and Democrat, have eaten away at our freedom.

Then it's not really a civil war, is it? It's government -- every government, every administration -- pushing for more control. Some times the control is necessary, and sometimes it isn't, but the "sides" in this change when the party in power does.

I also believe in American Exceptionalism.

Gotta stop saying that. It doesn't mean what people think it does. Or rather, that expression can mean so many different things that you have to explain what you're talking about when you use it.
