Churches all across the country paid tribute to slain teenager Trayvon Martin on Sunday, some by encouraging their parishioners to wear hoodies.
But Father Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabinas Parish in Chicago, took things a step further. As seen on WGNs News at Nine on Sunday, Pfleger spoke to his congregation with an unusual prop: Martins likeness was slumped at the church altar, complete with a red hoodie, a bag of Skittles and an Arizona Ice Tea.
Pfleger encouraged his congregation to be proactive in their response to the shooting.

Not saying whether it’s true or not, but here

I cannot understand why this clown’s bishop allows him to continue in his antics.
Pfleger is a anti-gun wacko who happens to be a priest.
Perhaps the bishop likes the contributions ($$$) this clown's congregation make to the diocese?
It was posted on another thread last night, if I find it I will link you to it
Tensions still simmer in Trayvon Martin shooting case
March 17, 2012 Orlando Sentinel
I haven't read any other account for his suspension.
Any self respecting Catholic who attends mass presided by this fraud Father Pfleger ought to have their head examined.
I’m not a Catholic but I’d sure say so too.
I am pretty certain Pfleger is possessed.
Never mind, I just saw post #41 and the article at the link.
If 0bama had a son he would have gold grilz!
I have read that the physical description of the two people is as follows. The person shot was 6’3”, 150 lbs and 17 years old. The man doing the shooting was 5’9” and 200 lbs and 28 years old. Without a weapon, who was more likely to be a physical threat??
These cases have nothing to do with houses being broken into. “Stand your ground” relates to incidents happening out in the open. The 911 people say they told him to detach from the situation and let them handle it. More info definitely needed.
I read an Orlando article stating 3 suspensions, one for graffiti (WTF) sprayed on a school locker. Security recognized him on the security video playback, searched his book bag and also found a watch, and 12 items of women’s jewelry and a wide-bladed screw driver. He claimed someone else gave the jewelty to him but would not provide a name. The school gave it to cops, but they could not locate any owners, so couldn’t prove it was stolen. I think one was for tardiness and plying hooky, and the 3rd was for having pot residue in a baggy, along with a bong for smoking it. Sounds like a wanna-be gang banger to me...

Yes, I’ve read that now too. I was behind when I posted that. Thanks.
Bruce Lee weighed 135 pounds at the start of his fighting career, eventually getting up to 160. Would you consider him a physical threat without a weapon?
Heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey was 6'1" and 150 pounds as a teen, when he started his boxing career, and routinely beat men much heavier than himself. Would you have been interested in getting into the ring with that skinny little guy?
Trayvon's weight has been put at anywhere from 150 to 190, depending on the source. The definitive source would be the autopsy report, but that's not been released for some odd reason. The bottom line, though, is that a lot depends on the relative physical condition, training, and fighting experience. Zimmerman had more weight, but much of that appears to be fat. Martin had more reach, and probably more speed.
what started out as an innocent kid just reading the bible, minding his business when “Zimmerman” came up and shot him for no reason, to a gangsta wannabe who was just expelled for carrying a bag of pot and a bong to school, after he was suspended for carrying around burglary tools and some stolen women’s jewelry in his bag place in there by the famous “Idant Know” while vandalizing, jumped a smaller hispanic guy who was keeping an eye on his neighborhood that had been burglarized by young black men wearing hooded shirts..
Maybe they can add some stolen jewelry and a screwdriver since those were found on him by the school.
