I agree completely, but that begs the question who are the people voting for him and why?
Evangelical Christians must believe Santorum can pass laws favorable to their beliefs. He also has been touting himself as the most conservative of the 4 remaining. That is only true on social issues. Santorum’s voting record in US Senate is clearly not conservative. He voted for over 100 spending increases and zero cuts. Newt is far more conservative on fiscal issues.
