The White House struck back at Newt Gingrinch on Sunday for the presidential wanna-be's criticism of Obama and his remarks about the Trayvon Martin killing.
The President said on Friday that “if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."
"I think (Trayvon’s parents) are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened," Obama said.
Gingrich, in a radio interview that same day, blasted the President’s comments as “disgraceful.”
"It's not a question of who that young man looked like," Gingrich said.
"Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified, no matter what the ethnic background. Is the president suggesting that, if it had been a white who'd been shot, that would be OK, because it wouldn't look like him? That's just nonsense."

Newt, Palin and Trump should be on the team of whoevever wins the nomination. Pay them off with whatever job they want to get them speaking daily on issues. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? They would be the headline of every papaer and every nightly news.
It's becoming almost comical, but says something very weird about "the president." He is genuinely threatened by Gingrich.

This is a very telling remark which has been well thought out and uttered to incite anger and provoke violence.
What Obama is doing is to plant a seed in people's minds that Trayvon, was shot because he resembled Obama. In other words, the shooting was, by proxy, an attempt on Obama's life.
Remember how an attempt was made to imply that Sarah Palin was instrumental in the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords?
The press has clearly decided to ignore Gingrich because they realized that whenever he was highlighted, Romney (and his “godly” clone, Santorum) lost ground. The ones the left would love to have Obama run against would be Romney or Santorum, both of whom are big-government nanny-statists, differing only in their divine annointing.
Romney thinks he’s the fulfillment of some Mormon prophecy, and Santorum thinks he’s God’s gift to the universe and his duty is to make us all be perfect like him.
Gingrich, on the other hand, actually has plans for the US, knows something about international affairs, economics, energy...but all these things have dropped by the wayside in the minds of the handful of GOP voters who are turning out to vote. They want their “nice young man,” be he Mormon or Evangelical/Catholic, and they don’t care how dumb he is and how self-serving is his suddenly discovered piety.
But Obama knows the name of his only real enemy.
What Obama said about this tragedy was racially and politically motivated - only. It was a dangerous and divisive thing to say.
What Newt said was classy, appropriate, covered EVERYONE, highlighted the tragedy in the right perspective — in other words, it was PRESIDENTIAL.
What Romney and Santorum said ....uh, what was it they said?? Huh? Can’t hear it . . .
Hmm, dear leader just keeps giving more and more evidence that the dream is nowhere near coming to pass.

I am actually arguing with Family members who have joined the “Zimmerman should be in the slammer” mantra. When I explain the circumstances that the Media is ignoring in their rendition of the “facts”, they still argue the point.
