ABC News projects that Rick Santorum will win the Louisiana Republican primary.
Exit polls indicated that Louisianas primary saw a high turnout of voters who identified as very conservative a group that has typically favored Santorum. Also helping Santorum was a high turnout of religious voters nearly two-thirds of voters in todays primary said that they go to church at least once a week.
Santorum has so far performed very well in the South, winning primaries in Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He was favored to carry Louisiana. Recent polling showed him with a comfortable lead over the rest of the GOP field heading into the contest.
The win may give Santorum a boost in momentum heading into the next slate of contests, which will take place in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, D.C., on April 3, however, it is unlikely that he will pick up a large slate of delegates here.

Does the report say how many democrat votes he got this time??
It seams the GOP has a problem. I can not speak for everyone but as for me, they either give me a real conservative or I will go somewhere else.
Captain Etch-a-sketch:
"I bet $10,000 that this thingy is the perfect size.
Have some minion superglue it on the roof
of my wifes second Cadillac."
Willard, what the hell is that child doing on the roof?
Captain Etch-a-Sketch: Silly woman. Even when if it falls off
Matt Drudge and Fehrnstrom will just hit my Reset-button.
And it is dwarfed by the big photos and headlines of Obama and Cheney at the top of the page. For some reason, it looks larger here than it does on Drudge's page--but as you can better see, it's hardly a victory celebration or a sympathetic photo of Rick.
I am very, very disappointed in Drudge. He is turning into a cheating liar, something I've never seen him do before.

Why is Newt consistently placing 3rd? I don’t think he should drop out. I think he should have as much influence has he can have for as long as he can have it. But I don’t understand why he isn’t doing better in the South.
