Rick Santorum Wins Louisiana Primary, Continuing His Southern Sweep

ABC News projects that Rick Santorum will win the Louisiana Republican primary.

Exit polls indicated that Louisiana’s primary saw a high turnout of voters who identified as very conservative — a group that has typically favored Santorum. Also helping Santorum was a high turnout of religious voters — nearly two-thirds of voters in today’s primary said that they go to church at least once a week.

Santorum has so far performed very well in the South, winning primaries in Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee. He was favored to carry Louisiana. Recent polling showed him with a comfortable lead over the rest of the GOP field heading into the contest.

The win may give Santorum a boost in momentum heading into the next slate of contests, which will take place in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, D.C., on April 3, however, it is unlikely that he will pick up a large slate of delegates here.

It seams the GOP has a problem. I can not speak for everyone but as for me, they either give me a real conservative or I will go somewhere else.

I haven't been there since he went anti-conservative a couple months ago.

Captain Etch-a-sketch:
"I bet $10,000 that this thingy is the perfect size.
Have some minion superglue it on the roof
of my wife’s second Cadillac.
"

Willard, what the hell is that child doing on the roof?

Captain Etch-a-Sketch: “Silly woman. Even when if it falls off
Matt Drudge and Fehrnstrom will just hit my ‘Reset’-button.

I agree. Mittens should cash in his chips and get out. His election is NOT inevitable. Mittens etch-a-sketch moment is just the latest of gaffes by him and his staff. Mittens only wants POTUS as a resume enhancement for his Bucket List.

Drudge has put up a little tiny picture of Rick and a couple of other guys, and a tiny headline, "Rick wins Louisiana." Unlike the great big ones of smiling romney, whenever he wins, the photo of Rick is unflattering and almost impossible to make out.

And it is dwarfed by the big photos and headlines of Obama and Cheney at the top of the page. For some reason, it looks larger here than it does on Drudge's page--but as you can better see, it's hardly a victory celebration or a sympathetic photo of Rick.

I am very, very disappointed in Drudge. He is turning into a cheating liar, something I've never seen him do before.

Follow Rick Santorum on Twitter, and get to know him better.

For instance:

“Americans should be allowed to purchase health insurance across state lines to gain access to best insurance coverage”

Why is Newt consistently placing 3rd? I don’t think he should drop out. I think he should have as much influence has he can have for as long as he can have it. But I don’t understand why he isn’t doing better in the South.
