I did payroll for a nursing facility
many moons ago, and I remember what it was like.
Fixing it when/if someone complains is absurd.
Besides, times are tough with this economy,
lot of folks barely make it from paycheck to paycheck,
and they blow a gasket if their check is screwed up.
And guess who gets yelled at?
You have it exactly right! And I have told them, to their faces, that it doesn't matter what happened, payroll gets blamed. I was scoffed at...told that it wouldn't be our fault. I just looked at him. I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying what I wanted to say.
