I’ve always predicted that if open homosexuality were ever tolerated in the military, serving homosexuals would be untouchable by any meaningful discipline or rules. The rampant spread of HIV, which is already reported in a base in Alaska, will be shrugged off and swept under the rug, as taxpayer dollars go to subsidize the continuance of this scourge.
ANY attempt to address the unavoidable problems created by this disastrous policy will be deemed “homophobia,” and the party addressing the problem will be the one made to face severe punishment.
Given the eggshells the higher-ups walk on for Muslims to the point of allowing mass murder, I have to agree with you.
But, hey, at least our diversity won’t be a casualty, right?
