I would try to find a shooting range with one you can rent before you buy. My wife can’t handle the loud report and recoil from these Light Carry pistols. I make her practice with what she carry’s, currently my Taurus 890. Maybe in .380 it would be OK. One nice thing is the TCP comes with a nicely constructed nylon case that clips to your belt and looks like it holds some electronic gizmoconcealed in plain sight, as it were.
I own the Kel-Tec in .32acp and it feels fine in my hand; I don’t imagine the .380 will be much stiffer. The other option is the Kel-Tec PF9. It’s a more serious round, a larger capacity and not much bigger profile.
