Yes the most minor injury I ever heard of - happened to my aunt - was a broken leg. Just as all guns are loaded - all PTOs are just waiting to grab your clothes and pull you in.

We were lucky with the PTO but hubby was putting a new motor on the hay elevator and got his hand caught, came in the house holding his hand and wouldn't look at it. I, being an nurse sat him down at the sink and checked it out. Only needed a few stitches..so up to the doctors office we went. chewed up flesh looks nasty...farming is a dangerous profession...

A broken leg is much worse. GG
