President Barack Obama weighed in on the "tragedy" of Trayvon Martin's death last week, saying it is "absolutely imperative" that all levels of government investigate "every aspect" of how the unarmed boy was shot.

"I can only imagine what these parents are going through," Obama said, adding "When I think about this boy I think about my own kids."

"I am glad that not only is the Justice Department is looking into this, but the Governor of the State of Florida has put together a task force [to investigate the case]," Obama said. Obama carefully avoided any discussion of George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin, and has controversially avoided arrest under Florida's "Stand Your Ground" self-defense laws.

"My main message is to the parents: If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon. I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves."

Particularly interesting was the statement, “When the Sanford Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident, Mr. Zimmerman provided a statement claiming he acted in self defense which at the time was supported by physical evidence and testimony.”

If that is true—self-defense “supported by physical evidence and testimony”—what is the outrage about?

Makes one understand if one can distract the population, one can make further inroads for the enemies of the population. zer0 and his minions are good at distracting the population as the enemies of the population make their inroads and become entrenched. Smart plan by those who implemented and are contributing to America's enemies. Awaiting to see the whites of their eyes, as they rape, murder, and burn. The enemies of the population are going to receive the surprise of their lives once they come for the generation, and their offspring, of the Greatest Generation. The Greatest Generation may have to be redefined (imho), as only being as good as the next two after the Greatest Generation.

Wow. I can't believe he said this. By saying it, it gives an air of innocence to Trayvon since obviously Obama wouldn't have a son that looks like a criminal, and if George Zimmerman did indeed act in self defense, then the actions by Trayvon Martin are by definition, criminal. It's his unique way of poisoning the well.

That does not constitute a ringing endorsement of Mr. Zimmerman or his actions.

The police don't offer ringing endorsements of suspects. That is not the way the justice system works. Dear Chgogal,

Trayvon is NOT my son.

My children were taught better. If Trayvon’s father and mother had cared enough to guide, oversee, and discipline him when necessary, he’d be alive today.

Is this a tragedy? You bet. A young black boy is dead, and several other people are about to have their lives ruined, courtesy of Al Sharpton, Barack Obama, and the Sanford City Council.
