The Dept. of Energy’s mission has been updated since 2009.Their mission is to assure the delendency on foreign sources of energy and penalize our domestic energy production companies.
The Dept. Of Energy has Not produced one kilowatt of power. That Agency either needs to be reformed or disbanded because it’s nothing more than a fraud on the American People.

Agreed. The energy policy of the administration should be to promote a plentiful, cheap energy supply. We don’t need a dept of bureaucrats for that.

Well, that’s a perfectly marvelous question, one I’ve been asking since prior to the Clinton regime.

I’m sure President Romney will shut down the Department of Energy. After all, he is a “severe” conservative. sarc/

The mission of the Energy Department is to... ...destroy the US economy and prepare for the coming of global communism.

where is it authorized in the US Constitution?
Silly little serf. It's right between social security, medicare, the right to privacy, regulation of purely intrastate activities, regardless of any connection to commerce, the usurpation of private property rights through emminent domain, based on an assumed increase in local tax revenues, the regulation of local educational policy in contravention to the 10th amendment, the overriding power granted to ban and license co-called destructive devices and other Class III items, or to require a waiting period or any other limitation on the pedantic right to keep and bear arms, the right to have others pay for your own recreational sex, the right to be paid from general revenues to dunk a crucifix in a jar of urine, the right to be insulated from poor business decisions, the right to purchase an abode regardless or ability to pay, and most importantly the right to control and deflate the currency to keep the machine running. Aside from paragraphs, did I miss anything?
