Nope. You are still confused. I didn’t say or even imply any such thing. Baptism was not the only new requirement. So is repentance and confession. As you know - those were not required under the Law.
I wish I had a handy reference available to help you understand how Abraham, Moses and the Prophets were saved and sanctified even though Christ had not yet died for their sins, but I don’t. But even so... that is something you really ouught to read up on.
Whether or not you believe in baptism or not, we all need to understand how the blood of Christ flowed two ways at Calvary. Backwards to save those under Law. And forwards to save those under Grace.
And again - leaving baptism out of the equation - the theif died before the Cross.
