Wisconsin Carry, Inc. booked Serb Hall in Milwaukee for March 18th, 2012, to give a free course to meet the requirements for the Wisconsin concealed carry permit. This was ambitious; the hall seats 1100 people, and Wisconsin Carry required that participants register in advance.
The class was held as scheduled. While exact attendance numbers have not been released yet, the course was filled up with registrants. The pictures indicate a full hall.
1100 more people able to apply for the CCW permit at one setting. This is impressive. Wisconsin Carry Inc. is becoming a state organization with the clout to actively fight to restore constitutional rights.
I took this class in Mequon at the American Legion Hall on Mar. 5. While our numbers were not so large, the class was good. My husband and I will probably apply for our licenses, but neither of us intend to carry.

Look at those folks in shorts! It was FREEZING the night I took it in Mequon. I was/am still recovering from my slip on the ice at the end of January. No heat in the room at the American Legion Hall really did a number on the poor, stretched ligaments in my knees. I wanted to scream in pain before I got out of there. Otherwise, it was a good class.
I will be taking the class this weekend too, but hopefully a bit less people in this one, or not.
I have not got the official numbers yet. The hall holds 1,100. I think the attendance was well over 1,000.
Interestingly enough, the course required for a CCW in Virginia is less stringent than the one required for a hunting license. My husband is currently attending the hunting class and it does count for his CCW.
I just did a best guess by counting rows and columns of chairs in the picture that appeared to capture most of the room...something close to 30x25 with some empty chairs.
I was not there, so I do not know for sure. The link has a bit more information.
You should try it. You’ll get used to it. Start at a slower pace but get some familiarity with doing it.

As a member of WI Carry,Inc,,,,I got an email this week about a course that is being offered in Elkhorn.
Above is the link.
Elkhorn March 31st
Thank you very much for posting it.
How was the fish fry?
It only took me 10 days to get my license after I mailed in the application. I was surprised how fast it was. My husband got his too. I say the more the merrier. Get that number of license holders as high as we can. Anything to annoy a liberal.
