Rep. Cliff Stearns, a senior Republican investigating the White House’s Solyndra energy loan guarantee, told reporters today that he is still, despite all evidence to the contrary, not convinced that President Barack Obama’s birth certificate is valid.
“I am, shall we say, looking at all the evidence,” Stearns, R-Fla., said at the Capitol today, just weeks after he waded back into the debate during a town hall meeting with constituents last month.
Asked if he thinks the president’s birth certificate is authentic, Stearns suggested the issue is not settled for him personally yet, as first reported by the Hill and Roll Call. Before coming to a conclusion, Stearns says he is awaiting the results of another independent investigation by Maricopa County [Ariz.] Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who claims he has proof the birth certificate is a “computer-generated forgery.”
“We are just going to hold in abeyance a final decision until we hear [an outcome],” Stearns said. “Some of these people seem to have legitimate concerns, so I don’t think it is unreasonable just to see what they have to say.”

All we have is one lousy congressman willing to even talk about it and this is all he will say? Anyone with any sense knows it's a fake. But this proof that the issue is going nowhere. This congressman and the rest of Congress can be described as 'useless' and 'hopeless', respectively.
He ergo has not filled out his I-9, and is unemployable!

I agree on both points.
Obama ia a pathetic, incompetent Marxist that has captured the imagination of the Democrats, the Liberal Agenda Media, and those who like good sounding speeches.
The result is a blithering idiot who has no objective supporters.
The key is to create doubt in the minds of his supporters.
I am in favor of a multi-pronged campaign on a variety of topics so defense eventually shows the weakness that can be pursued to maximum effect. (Similar to the way a pack of us Graewoulves weed out the weaklings in a herd).

Did the President of the United States and Harvard Law School graduate simply lose the original one, the one that his mother walked out with when she was discharged from Kapiolani Hospital a few days after supposedly giving birth to Obama in 1961?
Or, did the dog eat it?
Or, was it in such bad shape that Obama felt that he needed a new one?
If the original 1961 was in such bad condition, why not show that damaged copy to reporters at the April 27, 2011 press conference just before he showed the reporters the new copy?
If President Obama simply lost the birth certificate that he talks about in one of his books, then I wonder how long ago he lost it, because then Senator Obama ordered a short form certificate in June 2007.
Also, I'm wondering why President Obama ordered a short form in 2007 and then turned around 4 years later in April 2011 and ordered a long form birth certificate, because---I think it is safe to say---most people order a new birth certificate only when they lose the one they had.
That is, it looks to me like the President of the United States and Harvard Law School graduate, Obama, lost his Hawaii long form birth certificate before or during 2007, or else why would he find it necessary to order a less-detailed short form in June 2007 and a long, more-detailed form in April 2011?
I wonder if Obama is paying Joe a “special” visit sometime soon, after all he is out in the SW on a campaign trail.

Cantor was responding to a question about whether it's appropriate to have someone who has questioned Obama's birth certificate leading a probe of the White House.
This is a great sign because a top member of the GOP elite is breaking free from the Alinski-style eligibility-suppression efforts of Obots and GOP elite alike.
Shunning and banning is supposed to be visited on any person who utters sympathy for “birther” claims against Barry because “birthers” have been relentlessly equated with “racists” and “kooks.”
At a minimum Cantor has affirmed Stearns’ position of awaiting the results of Arpaio’s investigation as being a respectable position.
Nixon wasn't driven from office by a SCOTUS ruling or by indictment, but rather by the prospect of a future SCOTUS ruling and future indictment compounded by a conviction in the court of public opinion.
Arpaio’s little posse “snowball” could gather momentum rolling down hill and turn into an avalanche!
IMO the near total suppression of MSM coverage of the posse charges of fraud and forgery could be due to a secret presidential directive deeming eligibility challenges to be a “threat to national security in time of war” especially with the Iran situation about to blow up. Media outlets aiding and abetting eligibility challenges could be subject to having their broadcast licenses pulled and executives could be subject to arrest and detention in secret.
I wouldn't put it past Holder to draft something like that or past Barry to sign it, of course.

Look at it as one more small crack in the dike. Even small cracks with the force of so much water behind them mean it going to break.
I think it is proof the dam is cracking.
Pray for Sheriff Joe and his posse, but also pray for Cantor.
