I worked for a conservative Think Tank in the early ‘80’s and got to know Yuri Bezmenov. He loved America and I can still see the tears in his eyes as he explained what they were doing to America.
I was talking to my dad today (nearly 70 right now), and he said that he never imagined that the U.S. would get the way that it’s become. He never could have pictured it, he said. He’s a fan of Stossel, and talked about a piece he recently saw where John Stossel went to another country (dad said he thought it was Taiwan), to open a business. He said that within 15 minutes he was able to start a business. Then he said he tried to start a lemonade stand here in the U.S., and that, after 2 weeks of applications, permits, etc., he was denied the opportunity/license/permits to open the business. I haven’t seen the piece, as I have no TV, but will look for the piece online.
In any event, that describes the state of events in our country. Everything is either criminalized, regulated, or taxed, out of existence, and by design. I’ve only seen a few videos of Mr. Bezmenov, but at the end of one, they asked why he was willing to share. He said something like “Because, I’m one of you, now. This is my home. I already defected to be here here, and I’m not defecting anywhere else.” He was so heartfelt, I could hardly believe he was once in the KGB.
I miss patriots and people that love freedom, we’re few and far between. It seems today, we have warring factions over who will rule over us the best, rather than best protect our freedoms (in this case, actually give them back). I’m by no means a libertarian, but I certainly want to err on the side of less government. So many just hope that the liberty they so joyfully exchange for the promise of security, is not misused and abused. Well, it is! And always will be. That’s what the Patriot Act, TSA groping, NDAA, EO’s, etc. Have gotten us to. They’re the camel’s nose in the tent.
That’s why I’m convinced that the total debt/currency collapse is not only inevitable, but also precisely what we need. I don’t want a civil war that some call for (it may happen anyway), because war never settles much of anything, sometimes, but not often. It depends upon the reason for the war. If it’s for freedom, it’s always worth it. If it’s for payback, not really. I don’t want to have to worry about my family when our home’s a war zone. But one way or another, the socialism always fails. As Madison (?) said, Democracies are “as short in their lives, as they are violent in their deaths.”
The politicians have been pillaging us for years, and we’ve been deficit spending on the backs of our creditors for years. There comes a time in life when every good man/woman/family’s life when he/she/they have to pull themselves up by their boot straps and get to work, praying that God will grant them an increase, and then being grateful they got another day. Well, we’re purposely being taught not to work, suffer, live, or try, just like like the Eloi and Morlocks (and inhibited when we try!). A debt collapse may be just what we need to wake up and say, “Enough is enough!” I’d much rather deal with that than any number of high tech gadgetry available today in any kind of civil war. No thanks!
I watched a lot of his interviews on Youtube a few years ago and was greatly influenced by what he said. Thank God for men like Yuri Bezmenov!
There are a lot of “voices” out there sounding the alarm if you know where to look. The main thing is to destroy government control of schools. We need them out NOW. That is the key to returning our curricula to Classical values and rid it of the Communist/Atheist/Pagan contamination of the BF Skinner conditioning and brainwashing that is occurring in our schools—in all subjects to destroy knowledge and instill lies and cognitive dissonance so children can not think logically.
Too many “conservatives” do not think indoctrination will affect their children. They are very naive and uninformed.
