I wouldn’t ever allow my 13 year old daughter to go on ANY spring break period. So how does one allow their daughter that young to go on a spring break to MEXICO of all places? Spring breaks are for college students... not 13 year olds.

You don't understand the difference between "Spring break" and "school trip?"

Eight graders at our local Junior Hi go to D.C. on a school trip during Spring break every year.

Poor judgement on the part of “The President”. Actions speak louder than words. Allowing a prominent person like that to go to a war zone country, is nothing short of INSANE. That guy has some loose marbles.

1. Obama admin mails free condoms to 12 year olds

2. What is the age of consent in Mexico?

3. You know what happens at Spring Break...

Apparently the trip was organized by the exclusive school she goes to. The school trips have been to other countries as well, but Mexico. Hmmm.

I wouldn’t allow my COLLEGE kids to go on spring break. They took part time jobs during their break.

Oaxaca city was a pretty neat adventure for a couple of Midwest gringos when we visited there about 15 years ago. We flew in on a sparkling silver Air Liberdad DC-3 from Huatulco.

Oaxaca's airport features a thatched roof terminal building.
The city resembles Spain in the 1600s because it can trace Spanish influence from those years. It was peaceful when we were there, just after Christmas. We found out later that we had just missed the Oaxaca Radish Festival.

“I wouldn’t ever allow my 13 year old daughter to go on ANY spring break period.”

Yes, guess the criticism got to the WH media, so they’re now calling it a “school trip”.

Wonder what the purpose was and how the destination was chosen. Think we’ll hear that?

Heck, my parents wouldn’t allow me to go on any spring vacation when I was in college! They were no dummies.

It's OK. She can always get an abortion.
