So do they carry the oil in buckets to where the pipeline starts?

So this is a “Pipeline To Nowhere”?
To: ruralvoter
Isn’t that already permitted? Didn’t Keystone announce a couple weeks ago they were building that leg. So is Barry swooping in to try to take credit? Typical.

That should help gas prices! /s
What’s so sad is that most of his stupid voters will think this is great.

I know there is a huge railroad yard being planned near Williston to fill oil tankcars.

Q: What use is a pipeline in little random pieces?
A: No use at all, and that's the point.
Now he can say that he approved the project, jobs are crated building it, but no pesky oil will ever be transported in it on his watch.

He needs a major announcement because of a pre-planned campaign stop near the Pipeline project. I guess their internal polling about gas prices affecting the election has not been encouraging...
To: ruralvoter
It has but his smoke and mirror tactics will fail as it will have no effect on gas prices. You need to be complete in your strategies and ways of thinking.

It’s to the refineries, it’s just that it doesn’t start where the oil is so I guess it would the “Pipeline From Nowhere”?
obama doesn’t even pretend to make sense.

He thinks we're all stupid.70 million people, many of them actually alive, voted for him in 2008. We don't all have to be stupid. He just needs enough morons to carry the electoral college.

Is this Buffett’s railroad and isn’t he and his railroad one of the major reasons why the northern half isn’t being built?

Election year politics, at its best.
Obama must be feeling some heat from his closest supporters/financial backers.

This section doesn’t need a permit. It’s done. They are building it. This lying sack is trying to take credit AGAIN where none is due.
He already has videos on the net taking credit for increased oil production. I have yet to see any media outlet call him out on it.

The issue with the pipeline in states like Nebraska is that a lot of the land owners are VERY worried about the risk of leaks.
That is high plains ranch country. Water rights have been a killing thing decades. I have friends who ranch out in western Nebraska, and they were not very happy about the pipeline. Many have had “promises” made regarding similar things (oil/gas exploration, other pipelines) not be worth the paper they are written on. They are looking for some more guarantees before they sign on.
