First reports say no damage:
A person at Acapulco City Hall told NBC News that they felt the quake but had no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
President Felipe Calderon said on Tuesday, via his Twitter account, that there was no serious damage reported.
No damage was reported in Oaxaca, near where the quake hit, according to local television. The front desk at the Hotel Real Oaxaca told NBC that the temblor scared residents but there was no damage.
Earlier the quake had been reported at 7.9 magnitude. No tsunami was expected

I agree with you in Jesus name.
No matter what I feel for her parents, that girl doesn’t deserve to be hurt.

That is if they didn't decide to spend a nice day at the beach.
Where are the presidential-quality resorts near there?

A Google news search using the terms
earthquake malia obama at this moment returns zero results.
Apparently, her little vacation still fails to be newsworthy.

Seriously?
Gee if Obama hadnt cut those C130s from Texas we could be there by now for the rescue.
I hope Perry personally brings her home and hands Obama another manifesto.
Prayers for all in the wake.

Yep, I was waiting for this. The pattern has become pretty dang reliable. And I imagine professional astronomers have calculated the probable position and orbit of whatever is causing the gravity wave, too. I just wonder when the rest of us get to know about it.
