There Joe goes again with his hyperbole.

Of course, Joe Biden also thinks he’s always the smartest guy in the room.

Why the Dems think this guy is a political asset to the re-election team is beyond me. This dufus opens his mouth, and surely he must chase away voters. Seriously? Does Team Obama really think he’s helping garner votes?

By painting such an outrageously laughable over-the-top portrait of Obama doesn’t the vice president simply invite everyone to poke holes at the president’s flaws?

The funny thing is that I think Biden really believes what he’s saying, and the guy seriously delusional to such a degree that he could be diagnosed as mentally ill.

The vice presidential nomination is usually completely up to the presidential nominee to decide and it is his first major decision he has to make. That Obama picked an embarrassing idiot like Biden tells us a lot about Obama's judgment and seriousness of purpose--just as George W. Bush's choice of Dick Cheney told us a lot about GWB.

The only times in recent history when it wasn't a question of the presidential nominee making the decision were in 1956, when Adlai Stevenson allowed the convention to decide, and 1960, when Lyndon Johnson blackmailed Kennedy into picking him (Kennedy had intended to pick Stuart Symington). At least that is how Seymour Hersh tells the story.
