I went to a burger king a few weeks ago for the first time in years. I’m impressed that they still exist.

I haven’t tried that new Wendys burger, but its pretty hard to beat the Whopper with cheese in a fast food joint.

I could understand this. Burger Kings have all closed in this area. Their burgers are mushy slop heated in a microwave.

Well I always thought that Wendy's had the better of the fast-food hamburgers. I like the fact that they are square and thicker. Have not had the "In And Out" burger because they don't have them yet out our way. I have been to Las Vegas a few times and know there is a "In And Out" burger joint not far from West Tropicana Avenue (on Dean Martin Drive, I believe) but just never made it over there because there is so much to do on the proper strip.
However, it appears that at some point, I will eventually make it over there. In the meantime, I like cooking burgers at home on the grill that I purchase from my butcher shop. Really thick burgers that I top off with a thick slab of swiss cheese and a mess of hot peppers sautéed in olive oil and garlic. All inside of a potato bun. It is really a good burger and should I open up a burger joint that sells them, I imagine I would do quite well.

They going to yank the darn things out of military bases? Because the food sucked and the service and hours were crap.

Wendy’s used to be awesome about 10 years ago and back. I could order a double cheeseburger and it was hot and greasy, so much so that the grease would leak out of the foil. It was freakin delicious!
Nowadays, they give me a dry, lukewarm burger that is $8.00 in a combo. (rip off)
Five Guys ain’t cheap either, but if I’m nearing $10.00 I’m going to get a better burger from there.
Too bad In-N-Out is only on the west coast!

Considering how big they are Wendy’s food is still pretty decent.
Give me Sonic, Culver’s, or for that matter Buffalo Wild Wings food any day.

I have to say, Wendy’s really does appear to have stepped up its game with its new burgers, other sandwiches and milkshakes. Those new burgers are darn good.

How long and how much does it take to make your own burger? Geez?!

Don’t understand why anyone would ever eat ANY of those things - not a one of them resembles real food. Just cook your own, they will be so good, and in no way resemble what these folks are peddling.
