REPORT: The Head Of Obama's Jobs Council Is Voting For Romney
Business Insider ^ | 03/19/2012 | Eric Platt

General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt, the head of President Obama's Jobs Board, plans to vote for Mitt Romney, Fox Business' Charles Gasparino reports (via Bloomberg).

If true, the news would represent a major embarrassment to the Obama administration, which had elevated Immelt in their pursuit of private sector employment growth.

Gasparino has not spoken with Immelt, but said sources close to the G.E. chief said he was leaving Obama's side.

The president named Immelt the head of his panel of economic advisers in January as a replacement to Paul Volcker, the former Federal Reserve chairman.

Doesn’t Romney have to win the nomination first?

This story stinks fishy.

Immelt is so entwined with this administration he is conjoined with them in crime.

Whatever the reason, this little tale has been released to, I dunno, maybe boost Romney in the polls?

Like...wow, even Obama’s minions love Romney, like that?

Walk softly ladies and gems, somebody’s fooling us.

A Rat thinking of deserting a possibly sinking ship - speaks volumes about both Obama and Romney, and the comparison sure as heck doesn’t benefit Romney. FUJI - may GE choke to death on its quest for insider benefits.

Jeff Imelt is a scum bag of the crappiest order. This bodes badly for Romney, I wouldn’t want that creep endorsing me.

And, of course, since the fix is in, Imelt and pals know that Romnobama will be the GOP nominee.

Yes, Jeffrey has been helped by Obama thus far. But maybe he just realized that O’s idea of ‘fairness’ is going to hit him in the pocketbook if he gets re-elected. After all, he won’t need any of these hangers-on if that happens.

Actually, Immelt's support should represent a major embarrassment for Romney.

Only in some twisted Romney bashing way does this reflect badly upon Romney. I don't like him either, but he might be our nominee.

If this is as stated, it's incredibly embarrassing for Obie, but I doubt its face value.

More to come, no doubt.

Something’s fishy! If this is on the up and up, if Barry loses a slime ball like this, is he doomed or better off?
