This same voting behavior applies to all of the other U.S. territories, too.

Romney is racking up wins in states and territories that will never vote GOP in the General election.

Why is there a primary in Puerto Rico? Puerto Ricans can’t vote in presidential elections unless they have a stateside address.

Funny, I really don’t remember any news organizations making a big deal out of Puerto Rico voting in a primary? Must be that new “network” Whorealdo is running for diversity.

They made a big deal out of it when Geo. HW Bush beat Ronald Reagan there in 1980. Media said Bush was starting to “turn things around”.

Bad...but funny as hell too.
Unfortunately the powers that be did not share our somewhat twisted sense of humor.

Something slipped by me while I was busy working and take care of a thousand and one obligations, so someone help me out here...
why is Puerto Rico voting in the GOP primary? How long has this been going on? They are not a state. They do not vote for our President, right? Why the hell is ‘big LA’ given the opportunity to throw our primary?

Oops, I just asked that same question. I’ve been scratching my head on that one since I heard about the PR primary.

They have been thinking independently enough for quite a while to make the decision NOT to become a state and not to have share the tax-paying burden and yet to still receive sizable handouts from the US taxpayer, not the least of which is full military protection.
We ought to cut all ties with PR, as far as I’m concerned.
