Supermodel Elle Macpherson told shock jock Howard Stern Tuesday that she's pulling for Barack Obama to be reelected.
"I’m living in London and I’m socialist," she told her host. "What do you expect?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
HOWARD STERN: Who should be the next President of the United States Elle MacPherson, go ahead.
ELLE MACPHERSON: I think Obama’s going to do it.
STERN: You like Obama?
MACPHERSON: Yeah, I’m living in London and I’m socialist. What do you expect?
STERN: And you’re living in London and you sense what other foreigners feel. Do they like him?
MACPHERSON: I think foreigners like him. He’s very popular.
STERN: Don’t we look good having a black president and everything? Makes us kind of cool.
MACPHERSON: I think it’s more about his policy. But you know there are I understand that there are a lot of people who don’t, you know, don’t want change. “We want change. We want change.” And he says, “I’ll implement change,” and you go, “Oh, actually, I don’t bleeping feel like I want change. It’s too difficult.”
And Obama's media wonder why folks think he's a socialist.

She’s the first celeb to admit that they and Obama are indeed socialists........Can’t knock her, at least she’s honest.......
Of course they do. Obama is making America weak, and they think that is good for them. They will regret it when no one is left to come to their defense.
Elle should contribute her wealth to the State. Her earnings, royalties, annuities, property and all financial instruments of any kind. She should also share the spotlight, limelight, facials, personal cooks, trainers, clothing endorsements, makeup ads.....

The funny thing is that most teeth whitening products are illegal in Europe, due to the peroxide content. Isn’t Elle Australian? I really don’t care about her opinion, but at least she’s honest.

Elle, put your money where your mouth is and GIVE IT ALL to the poor and downtrodden of the world. Of course, you will be expected to continue working while only receiving a small fraction of what you earn. But as an avowed socialist this should bring you real joy.
It sounds like Macpherson thinks socialism is a trendy elitist lifestyle rather than an ideology.
Most of the creatures in the fashion and movie industries are indeed Obama fans because they think it’s fabulously fashionable, cool and “in” to be for Obama nowadays.
As I have stated before I made the biggest vote mistake of my life & yes; subconsciously it was due to my strong liberal upbringing & NO, I won’t make that mistake again. I am not blaming my vote on how I was raised, I am old enough to know better, just explaining that it was a part of my decision. A decision I regret everyday.
My brother & many others who voted for him won’t be either. And yes, I would say a good portion of the voters feel smug about the fact that he is black.
Most rich are Socialist.
It salves their (hypocritical) conscience, and keeps the smaller fish at a disadvantage.
