There is a new street art poster thats being emailed around and will no doubt eventually be spotted on a street corner near you. Its a gritty black and white image of Andrew Breitbart looking both battle-worn and ever vigilant with the caption: BREITBART IS HERE.
Those three words express the instant connection many of us feel for our fallen friend. They express our identification with him, and our need to continue his fight for the good of our republic.
With the death of Breitbart, the conservative movement didnt just lose a General we lost an entire Special Forces Division. But he didnt leave us without the tools and the knowledge we need to fight. This website Breitbart 2.0 is the culmination of his study of the technology and aesthetics of new media. The team Breitbart assembled under the leadership of Steve Bannon, Larry Solov, and Joel Pollak will advance his mission with courage and integrity.
Breitbarts most immediate mission was the belated vetting of Barack Obama. This obviously is an issue very near and dear to my heart.
During the 08 campaign, the same media that reported breathlessly about an old used tanning bed I purchased to get some sun during the dark Alaskan winter, couldnt be bothered to investigate Barack Obamas associations, statements or even his voting record as a state senator. Suntans and what I wore on the campaign trail were more important than Obamas political background. Unbelievable.
But when you come to think of it, the media didnt investigate either of our actual political records very closely.
Barack Obama and I both served in political office in states with a serious corruption problem.

Yeah. I ordered a t-shirt with it on it and i’m *still* waiting on it!
I got my ‘Breitbart Is Here’ t shirt today. Very nice.
I wouldn’t consider Breitbart a “friend”. But I sought advise from him and he was most cordial and helpful. I was a wreck the day he died because I knew he cared..
Where?
Yeah. Where?
This is why Sarah Palin is a great leader and a great person.
This is the reason I changed my tagline after March 1st.

You get it FRiend.
Just posted the picture on Facebook. I met him once at a Tucson Tea Party event and got his book signed...I’m still heartbroken about the incredible loss of this great patriot.
‘....Im still heartbroken about the incredible loss of this great patriot.’
I feel the same. I, too, was privileged to meet him last year at Presidency V in Orlando; I’m so glad I had that opportunity.
Got it. Thanks!
Sarah Palin is sooooooo underestimated. She’s smart as a whip.
Always good to “see” you, ‘pod.
What a beautiful tribute, thank you Sarah..Sarah knows more then anyone what Andrew had to deal with, the constant death threats, the left wing attacks..I still, even after all these weeks have passed, can’t believe that Andrew is gone. He was our warrior, fighting everyday til the end. God Bless both Andrew and Sarah, fighting the good fight!
Very thoughtful and appropriate.
