When: Tuesday, March 27th at 1:00 PM EST
Where: Upper Senate Park, Corner of Constitution Ave. and Delaware Ave. NE, Washington D.C.
The battle against Obamacare and its obvious disregard for the Constitution has finally reached the U.S. Supreme Court. The Tea Party Express, along with constitutional conservatives across the nation, has opposed this legislation from its inception, and whether it be by judicial rule or congressional repeal, we are determined to fight until it is no more.
This is why it is so important that you join us in support of the Hands Off My Health Care Rally at Upper Senate Park in DC on March 27th at 1:00PM. We are teaming up with Americans for Prosperity and 15 other conservative organizations, along with grassroots activists across the country to rally against Obamacare!
ALEXANDRIA (VA) TEA PARTY and Tea Party Patriots
ATP is planning a walk about on Monday thru Wednesday, March 26-28, at the Supreme Court Building. Due to security concerns no static protest are being permitted at the Supreme Court Building
Time for the walk about is still being determined but preliminary talk is that they will be there the whole day.
THESE GROUPS NEED YOUR HELP, AMERICA NEEDS YOUR HELP. Buses are being organized on the Tea Party Patriots and the Tea Party Express sites.
DC Chapter Master Ping List
Spread the word. A long week coming up.
Uh, didn’t our dear congress just make protesting on govt property illegal?
Well, we’re about to find out how far that goes. It mainly has to do with protesting around people who are protected by Secret Service, as far as I know.
Everybody who voted for that legislation should be thrown in a jail cell with a bull queer.
Well, that means all but 3 of them, because only 3 out of the 435 Congressionalcriminals voted Nay, and the 100 Senatorialcriminals took the liberty of voting ANONYMOUSLY.
Sounds like it is long past time...
May God give us strength.
Tatt
gonna try to make the one on the 24th.... I have a job unlike most liberals I know and I can’t take time off.
I’m going to try to make the one on the 27th. I’m not sure what good it’ll do, since these judges, with their effectively lifetime appointments, aren’t exactly accountable to us.
PING!
I never heard of that.
Wonder if that means no more White House protesting?
Foreigners used to marvel at the Freepers in front of the White House during the Clinton years. Most of them said you can't do that in our country.
It made us proud to be Americans.
I hope that the turnout is high even with the short notice.
I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend as I am still recovering from surgery and not able to walk so far.
FReep On!
Not sure if [Mrs] T & I will make it on the 24th. We have the Olney FReep and it does not break up till almost noon. By the time we get down there the rally will be half over.
But look for the tall U.S. and Gadsden flag.
[Mr] T
Looks like [Mrs] T and I might make this one, but not Saturday. Lets coordinate and ride down together. Will probably take the Red line to Union Station and walk over.
[Mr] T
This new antiprotest law, this will be a good indicater of what they intend to do -- if the 1st Amendment is alive or dead.
There are 4-5 local police agencies one deals with in DC depending literally whether you are standing on the curb or in the gutter. The Supreme Court is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Marshalls.
Usually so long as you keep walking, one can protest at the White House fence, just no static protests.
As one FReeper posted, it is mainly for those under Secret Service protection. Makes sense since Mittens has been “glittered” already. I can’t imagine if it was paint.
Being as this is the first I heard of it, I would have to learn more or see what happens when we are in DC.
[Mr] T
Thanks for that set of information. It is quite enlightening.
Angels don't walk, they fly. Praying for your full recovery.
If you want a cigar you'll have your butt down there Saturday.
Actually I will be missing the Olney FReep. Some work at Bethesda Naval Hospital came up and I have to be there Saturday.
I might make it on March 27 but can’t say now. The few jobs I have have suddenly become active with the warm weather.
[Mr] T
I now enjoy 6 Saturdays a week just like Guns. See ya there; don’t forget to bring your ash.
I may also have one or two friends from work in tow.
