Coincidentally, the lady in the next bed in the short-stay unit was waiting for the same type of surgery. They said it only happens in 3% of cases (where the wire slips out). Why the heck does he have to be one of the 3%? And if it’s so rare, why does another patient have the same problem? It it an issue with the pacemaker?
Good news on Mr. S. sorry to hear of the pain, but sounds like more than 3% if another patient present had the same issue.

Did the other patient have the same doc as his? Perhaps the problem is with the surgeon and not the pacemaker. It might be interesting to find out.
