Good morning again, Beachy!
*HUGS*
In late 1950 the Chinese Communists crossed the Yalu River into Korea and attacked the ROK and American forces with overwhelming numbers. In late November, the Chicoms encircled American Forces at the Chosin Reservoir, usually referred to by vets of that campaign as the "Frozen Chosin." Marines of the 1st Marine Division under the command of the legendary Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller fought their way out of the pocket against heavy odds. The Marines who took part in that battle have always been referred to as the "Chosin Few."
Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
