Hell all they have to do is stand under the wind turbines and and pick them up after the milliwatt makers get through with them.

They found they didn’t need protection anymore.
When the did a census, they looked a lot of eagles and
found that there were a bunch that looked like ordinary eagles.
When they looked closer, they could see that they were doing comb-overs.

In my state the only people who can have eagle or song bird feathers, including bluejay feathers are the feather-Indians.
No more kids picking up and wondering at a jay feather, unless you are the correct ethnicity.

Are they outgrowing their comb-overs and so are easier to spot?

I realize that most people in here care nothing about animals but the main reason I posted was because they are allowed to do this for the "RELIGIOUS PURPOSES". But, of course, many didn't catch that. If this is the beginning of allowing the unusual to be killed for religious purposes, then the muzzies will start with their requests.
BTW, killing our national bird is not a joke. Some of you are just cold.

The Indians could kill eagles before big heap palefaces arrived and told them what they can and can’t do.

Agree completely. This outrage should be the subject of an investigation and the “right” granted to kill eagles should promptly be rescinded.

So much for ‘equal treatment under the law’.
We have the blueprint for a truly civilized and constitutional society and here we are still playing this stupid tribal game.
Maybe the invading drug cartels with their Santa Muerte worship of death would like to sacrifice an Arapaho for his next ‘religious’ exercise. We’ll see what they think of ‘special minority victim’ status then.
Where does this nonsense end?

I don’t know. I try to hope that the 2012 elections will be the beginning of the end of stuff like this.

Wish I could be that optimistic. You’ll appreciate this Email I just got from a friend in Arkansas, and I think she’s a freeper, actually.
“Went to vote in Little Rock’s library tax election.
Walked in the polling place.
Signed the book.
Then they asked me for a photo ID.
I lost it.
Said I was an ILLEGAL ALIEN and didn’t need an ID.
You should have seen their faces. Sorry I didn’t take a film crew.
But I laughed and gave them my driver’s license.”
I bet 90% of this
country has no idea that Voting ID is being struck down by the courts.

ILLEGALLY struck down by the rogues. SCOTUS already voted on it. Holder & Obama don’t care.

Oh it will never end. Besides, you do know that unless you are an American Indian it is illegal for you to even have an eagle feather (any kind of eagle) let alone hunt one down. So if you see a dead eagle that’s been whacked by a windmill or died of natural causes leave it for the vultures or Indians because you my friend are a second class citizen.
