I don’t know how much stock to put in this. After Elizabeth died, the National Enquirer said that the two of them were going to get married, but they never did. I haven’t heard anything about him in so long, I didn’t even know they were a couple. If this is true and they are together, wouldn’t it make sense for him to marry her before his trial? Isn’t there a rule that a spouse does not have to testify against his/her partner?
The article also says that his children have “embraced” her. I find that hard to believe. I could never “embrace” a woman who had an affair with my father and criticized my mother while my mother was dying of cancer.
As far as a child (if this is true), I don’t think it’s right to bring a child into this. First of all, they are not married. Second of all, he could be going away to prison for 30 years. It’s not a good situation to bring a new life into.

While Conservative Republicans do have a history of marriage and family scandals, how many have mistresses ? Not once have I heard of a Conservative Republican openly admitting to having a mistress and flaunting they have a mistress or getting caught with one. Imagine Bush Jr, Santorum, Tom Tancredo or McCain caught with a mistress or flaunting the fact that they have one.
