And I'm thrilled but I have to say, I don't get it unless God is intervening. I've seen some of the anti-Santorum ads and they are brutal. He's outspent 10 to 1 at a minimum and yet is surviving and thriving in these primaries.
Not doubting God has a part, personally praying around the clock, but Rick's success defies all the campaigns in recent history.
After what we've all learned about how the media can twist facts & manipulate the public I can only say its about time.
The problem is that while one portion of the voting population becomes more sophisticated it seems the other - the left end and probably a plurality of the 'independent' demographic, is becoming even more easily led.

Possibly because he’s an exceptionally good candidate? He’s worked harder than anyone else with less money than anyone else as well. Maybe the voters who meet him face to face actually like him and like his positions?
Or, I suppose we could go with the prevailing view on the Left that GOP voters are toothless idiots, etc.
