Very ominous song playing in the background. What do they plan to do?

Every ad Mr Seabrook runs uses this background song. This ad seems to run once an hour everyday during Rush & Sean

And if I remember correctly, these reforms are not for one single person currently employed and represented by his union, these reforms are for FUTURE employee’s!

First Amendment. You can say whatever you want, no matter how stupid, on every radio station in America if you have the money.

The CSEA is running similar ads upstate with the claim that New York's "one percent" are trying to eliminate public employees' pensions. What it's trying to do is create what they call Tier-6 which would apply to new hires and have somewhat less lavish pensions and health benefits.

The CSEA ad features a young-sounding guy who doesn't want the 1% to destroy the economic futures of young New Yorkers. I have to turn off the radio whenever it comes on.

They are not going to do anything if they want their jobs and right to be a union. Government workers should not be unionized.

It is a conflict of interest. They serve themselves at the expense of the people they are supposed to serve. Unions corrupt everything they touch and our governments don’t need to be corrupted by government unions.

I'm surprised these folks didn't cancel their ads in response to Slutgate.

As for me, I say cut all existing government pensions in half, and if there's trouble end them entirely. Legislatures have no power to make promises beyond their terms.
