The smart thing for the Pubbies to do would be to hold firm, which of course means they’ll cave and take the proffered “deal.”

On the floor of the Senate, he offered to bring a quick vote on the JOBS Act, a Republican-led jobs bill that passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support, in return for Republicans dropping their opposition to the nominees. Dems only offer a "deal" to 'Pubbies when there is a worse result for the 'Pubbies and America.
I predict that the 'Pubbies will cave when they see the . . . . . . . . . oh, look! Shiny thing!!!!

If Republicans actually had a pair, they could make political hay out of this. Picture the commercials "Why is Harry Reid threatening to hold the Jobs Bill hostage? Don't you want American's to find jobs Senator?"

Now form up the Conservative Circular Firing Squad!
I bet not one of the blowhards to this post so far have bothered to contact their Senators in support of holding up the rat judicial nominees.

Where do Americans stand on judicial nominations? The latest United Technologies/National Journal Congressional Connection Poll show a large percentage is disengaged from the issue. But, led by freshman Sen. Mike Lee (R., Utah), has been tying down nominations in retaliation for President Obamas recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Board.
What do the people want: Liberal Judges or Jobs?

I’d take a play from out of the RAT playbook. Take them up on the offer long enough to get the JOBS act passed and then call of the deal and continue to hold up the judges.
