(CBS News) President Obama's approval rating has hit the lowest level ever in CBS News polling, according to the latest CBS News/New York Times survey. The drop may be partially attributable to rising gas prices.
Just 41 percent of Americans approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president, according to the poll, conducted from March 7 to 11. Another 47 percent disapprove of his performance, up from 41 percent last month.
Mr. Obama's approval rating was 50 percent last month.

Consider the source and the likelihood that CBS “seasonally adjusted” the numbers (a la BLS) to help out their guy. His approval has to be even lower than they report.

People know that unemployment is high. Gas prices and food prices are hitting people hard. Everytime we turn on the news we hear “Happy days are here again, the skies are clear and blue again.” People don’t like the lies. Most people are not as stupid as 0bama and his media allies think.

Rasmussen is the poll that is confusing.
While the last few days have shown Obumbo’s disapproval
going up, he is still only -16, when I think it has been as low as -21 in the past.
Conservatives really blew a golden chance, I can’t believe we are probably going to get stuck with that RINO Romney as our candidate.
Nearly anyone else would have been a better choice.

Well Rasmussen is all over the place, but don’t worry about the plus minus number. Just focus on the strongly disapprove, and as long as that is over 40 he’s toast.
It doesn’t really matter whether folks approve or strongly approve.

Don’t think this is going to work. As long as Israel threatens to wipe Iran off the map, the price of gas cannot come down. And if comes down despite that, Obama is then a liar.
