As long as applying oneself to school studies is regarded as “Acting White,” there is no hope for such people.
There are people in the black community warning their people that they’d do better looking closer to home for their problems. Bill Cosby comes to mind. I think he’s even gone as far as to point out that the number of unwed and black teen mothers isn’t whitie’s fault.
Until blacks learn to stop blaming others for their poor choices, nothing will get better.
