Wish we could give you some clarity in Alabama but...Romney 31, Gingrich 30, Santorum 29, Paul 8
Oh shoot...I mean they’re pulling votes away from Romney.....Can’t help the error...am soooo excited for Newt.
I got Newt on me mind!!!!
Go Newt Go!!!!!!
AL people wont vote for Roy Moore.
______________________________________________________________
Why not? I thought he was very popular in AL?
Too bad Newt didnt run ads on how Santorum supported earmarks and the Bridge to Nowhere even when it diverted funds for the Hurricane Katrina victims which also hit Mississippi! they tried to take some funding from the Bridge and give it to the people hit down there..Santorum voted NO!
Gov. Bentley is no RINO. He was instrumental in getting our new immigration law passed.
“They say Newts doing well with the Tea Party- Those folks better turn out”
Newt can take a vast majority of the AL, MS Delegates if the Tea partiers Turn out.
Its now or never stand up and be counted.
Looks like mostly even/barely negative, and only very light trading on Newt over the weekend:
Mitten's trading marginally positive on best of the 3 volume-wise:
Rick harder to discern due to very light trading:
Later
Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum participate in the Alabama Republican Presidential Forum
March 12, 2012 5:30pm 7:30pm CT
Alabama Theater
1817 3rd Avenue North
Birmingham, AL, 35203
Note: This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited to the first 2,000 people.
COVERAGE ON CSPAN 5:30pm Central 6:30pm Eastern
GO NEWT!
Santorum will win Alabama and Newt will win Mississippi. Alabama went for Huckabee in 2008 and Mississippi went for McCain in 2008. McCain and Newt are pretty much the same and Huckabee and Santorum have some of the same social issues.
Miss Newt 55, Rom 30, R 20
That is impossible. It equals 105 percent.
Thanks for the analysis- As I said, I know very little about Intrade.
Naps, as I indicated- I know little about Intrade. I don’t think it’s a poll as such- just money odds. The numbers I posted were the numbers- perhaps others can explain their significance, if any. Good luck to your guy.
Thanks. Tomorrow Newt will have a great day. Congrats. I can’t wait until tonight to watch the forum. I am so thankful that only Newt and Rick are attending. I think it is going t be good. I know people think that these two can’t stand each other, but that is not true. They go back a long time and respect each other. This is a primary which is ugly every time. I mean I laugh when Democrats try to say how ugly this primary was but not the one for them in 2008. That primary went into June.
You know I am not a Rick-hater. Objectively, in that I believe that neither Newt or Rick can beat Romney one-on-one-, I personally think Rick benefits if Newt wins both states.
They have to “double-team” Romney- neither can do it alone. They should refrain from attacking each other, and instead, target Romney and the Gop-e for trying to fix the primaries.
Newt and Rick represent the insurgency again the establishment, that’s how they should campaign against all the “fixes” devised by the Establishment- Call them out, name the names- make that the ONE issue.
Rick and Newt can argue about who gets the spoils at a later date.
PPP tweeted...
Gingrich and Santorum are both much more popular than Romney in AL and MS
But Romney has chance to win in AL and MS because Newt and Rick are splitting ‘very conservative’ vote almost equally

You know I am not a Rick-hater.
I 100 percent agree with that. And I also agree with ensuring that Romney not get the delegate wins at the end. Convention must be the main goal. Oh those GOPe are going to be ruthless during the convention but hopefully the conservatives at that point will stand as one and win.
Rick supported all the wedge issue National Right To Life legislation over the years from Partial Birth Abortion to Parental Notification for abortions, no abortions on military bases etc.
These issues were used to gin up money for NRL and other beltway establishment lobbying groups as well as to emotionalize the Pro-Life vote to vote for GOP Establishment candidates.
