I do care that when he's confronted on his personal failings, he uses his love of country as a subterfuge to explain and mitigate it.

He said that in one interview - one - years ago. Since then, he has said of that period in his life that he was hollow, and the more he achieved the more hollow he became. He once said of that period, on my bleakest days, I knew what I was doing was sin. he used the word sin to describe his actions. He has said that he was like an alcoholic without the liquor, and credited the AA 12step program and the Word of God as pulling him back from the brink. He has also said that he was headed for an emotional collapse or suicide. He has also taken full responsibility for all of his actions, and makes no excuses for them. And refused to talk bad about his ex-wife.

So just go on and keep posting your one time statement over and over and over again, and despoiling a man who has sought redemption, forgiveness, and who has no current behavior similar to his past sins.

I don't know if you are a Christian or not, but you are certainly a Santorum supporter.

"He said that in one interview - one - years ago."

He said it last March.

"He has said that he was like an alcoholic without the liquor, and credited the AA 12step program and the Word of God as pulling him back from the brink."

I'm an AA member. I never blamed my drinking on my love of country.
