Palestinian terrorists fired at least 80 rockets from Gaza into southern Israel since Friday night, leaving eight Israelis injured in the heaviest series of attacks in months. The barrages came in response to an IAF strike which killed the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.
The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted at least five rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at Beersheba and Ashdod early Saturday morning. In total, at least ten rockets have been intercepted by the system since the beginning of the escalation on Friday.
The IAF struck targets in Gaza overnight Friday and Saturday morning in response to the rocket attacks. Twelve Palestinians - 10 of them members of Islamic Jihad - were killed in the strikes and another 20 were injured, according to Palestinian news agency Ma'an.

Probably 90% of the population does not know this happened and will only be told that Israel has launched an unprovoked attack, if they push back.

Israeli Iron Dome has intercepted 39 rockets since start of escalation.
Since Friday afternoon, when Israel assassinated the leader of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza, who kidnapped and held prisonner the Israeli soldier Shalit for five years, 93 rockets have landed inside Israel, and over 24 targets have been bombed by the IAF throughout the Gaza Strip.

It proves it works. Reytheon is developing a “copy” of Iron Dome. Would it not be easier to buy it from the Isrelis?
"Self-defense" does not apply if 'all' is defined as everyone in a country, including toddlers and babies.
The second definition is the one in play when armchair generals express eagerness to "kill them all".
Those who would kill everyone who does not practice Islam at least as fervently as they do are a cancer on humanity and must be destroyed.
Failure to do so will leave them hanging over humanity like the sword over Damocles.
The babies and toddlers are not looking to kill everyone who doesn’t practice Islam.
Then just kill their parents and big brothers/sisters, and adopt the babies and toddlders out to civilized people.
To do otherwise is equivalent to only excising half of a tumor from a cancer patient.
Don’t forget - we didn’t worry about “babies and toddlers” when we burned Tokyo, Hamburg and Dresden to the ground, either.
I’m not particularly concerned about them now, either.
