Palestinians fire at least 80 rockets at Southern Israel

Palestinian terrorists fired at least 80 rockets from Gaza into southern Israel since Friday night, leaving eight Israelis injured in the heaviest series of attacks in months. The barrages came in response to an IAF strike which killed the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.

The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted at least five rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at Beersheba and Ashdod early Saturday morning. In total, at least ten rockets have been intercepted by the system since the beginning of the escalation on Friday.

The IAF struck targets in Gaza overnight Friday and Saturday morning in response to the rocket attacks. Twelve Palestinians - 10 of them members of Islamic Jihad - were killed in the strikes and another 20 were injured, according to Palestinian news agency Ma'an.

I think that Hezbolla want to keep Israel busy with the rockets so that Israel doesn’t pound the Bat Snot out of Iran and Mock Mouddinnjacket.

If you took every Israeli and forced them to move to Sinai, then gave Israel to the palestinians, within 10 years Sinai would be flourishing and Palestine would be a sh*t hole.

And they would blame Israel for it.

The solution is simple. Give sinai to the Palestinians. Every dollar that would go to the UN will go to build the new Palestine. And move the UN to palestines new city, preferably on the waterfront.

The Palis are just trying to take attention away from Iran. I’m surprised it took this long. I expect the same thing would be coming from Syria also if they weren’t in such turmoil already.

If it only were that simple. When Israel was recreated in 1948 the Palestinians were offered a large swath of what is now Jordan but turned it down. They have one goal and one goal only...the destruction of Israel. The rest of the Arab world are playing them like pawns. Don’t ever think there will be a two-state solution because the Palestinians only want one...the Palestinian State.

Most of their lousy rockets ended up in fields and Iron Dome apparently did its job.

Prayers for Israel in the name of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach.

The Israeli’s never wanted Gaza. In fact, it was part of the Camp David accords that the Israelis take back Gaza. The Egyptians wanted no part of them..

“The only way for America and Israel good, is to butt Obama out of the White House.”

I don’t know about that, he might enjoy it too much.

I’d much rather see him run out on a rail, tar and feathered, then prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for his treachery as well as his treasonous behavior.

Pray for Israel.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said Israel was responsible for what he called "a grave escalation."

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas also condemned the strike.

The pali's have brass ball the size of church bell! They launch missiles into Israel and then complain when Israel defends herself!! Sheesh. There will NEVER be any truly lasting peaceful solution (crafted by man) to this...the pali's can't live with peace. They thrive on blood and turmoil.

Do Palistinians have dictionaries? I think they are having problems with the meaning words like “peace” and “rational”

I agree. It is. To Israel’s advantage to present it. Israel took a solution n 1948. And look how Israel is today. Offering this up, gives the Palis an opportunity to start fresh. By saying no to it, tells the world what the Palis really want which in my eyes absolves Israel from any future retaliation against pali terrorism.

"Kinda looks like the Palestinians will run out of people before the Israelis. In addition to all the other shortcomings, it seems the Palis can't count."

Good point, Chief. We can only hope. However, the palistinians are the least of Israel's problems. Hell, they're so impotent they can even kill an Israeli with all the rockets they launch.

Israel's problem lies with Iran, Syria, Egypt, and possibly Lebanon. I highly doubt that Saudi Arabia will get involved, although they are some of the worst Islamists (I despise them and their royal intolerant culture). The Yemis are going to sit this one out. Like the UAE, they enjoy a relative high standard of living.

Still, there is the northern part of Africa that is muslim that may send soldiers, resources, and suicide bombers. Israel built the wall, which we should have done long ago and approved by Congress.

Personally, I'm at the point of hoping Israel will nuke Iran and set an example. Russia nor China will not do a damn thing but to cry to the UN for redress and maybe put their forces on alert to show their power. They won't get involved as many say because they are enjoying their new found life style, not to mention the almost untouchable Trident submarines we have. What would they do, Chief? March against Israel? Hardly.

So kill them all Israel - let god sort them out. I'm with you!

"I think that Hezbolla want to keep Israel busy with the rockets so that Israel doesn’t pound the Bat Snot out of Iran and Mock Mouddinnjacket."

Hezbolla, Hamas, and the other factions of the Muslim Brotherhood under-estimate Israeli intelligence and capabilities and determination. They are the best of the best simply because they are fighting for the right to exist.

Think what the USA would do in such a case. Oh, right, we nuked Japan and fire-bombed Germany - good. We can agree we have weak leaders nowadays, but if it was about our survival...things would take a quick turn! I would bet everything I have that the Trident missles would go airborne to protect our children, even with bambi in office. Our nuke subs are the only thing that let me sleep at night while Navy during the cold war, and even now.

Our Trident sailors may not be hard ass grunts (love them), but they are the most highly trained and focused military you will find on this rock. Have you ever imagined what stress they incur every day knowing that they could destroy much of the planet? I've talked to a couple of them in my Navy days and found them to have that 1000 yard stare the grunts have.

Sorry, got off topic.

Agreed. History shows such. Palistinians and other muslim ilk are useless neanderthals who can't or won't understand civilized homo-sapiens. Kill them before they infect us all like the decease they are. Our ancient ancestors killed off the neanderthals and built the civilization we have now.

Thank you for posting history. The other part of your reply is that Israel was created from Trans-Jordan and Israelis were also referred to as palistinians at the time, as occupants of Palestine. There was a third section that I can't recall.

Anyway, I don't give one sh*t about who has claim to that land. All I know for fact, is that it was a wasteland until the Jews moved there and built something of it. The arabs (palistinians) moved out or were bought out. That's also a fact. Once they saw the Jews flourishing they wanted back in. They got jobs and increased their standard of living until they decided to advance their sick ideology of exterminating Israelis.

The reason I know this is because I watched the palis over the years bomb buses, cafes, weddings, town squares, et al, over and over and over until the the wall was built and kick those scum out! Now what do they have? Nothing. Oh, but wait, they live in refugee camps, as if. Frig them.

Wish I had a graphic server to post all the graphics I've saved with the palis cutting their own children's heads in some bizarre ritual. They are the worse of human-kind, and so are many other muslims. If I were king of the world, I would kill them all.

"The Israeli’s never wanted Gaza. In fact, it was part of the Camp David accords that the Israelis take back Gaza."

Oops, my bad, you're correct. The Palestinian negotiators indicated they wanted full Palestinian sovereignty over the entire West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Israel was willing to give some 91% (some say 97%) of Arafat's demands, but not satisfied, Arafat immediately called for a new intifada. The suicide bombings commenced. We used to read every day about another bombing of weddings, cafes, buses, et al. Those horrific mass murders is what got me interest in the Israeli/pali conflict. As a deist, I couldn't understand why that was happening to good decent people.

Bottom line is that Israelis want to live in peace and go about their daily lives. Palis live for their self-imposed hatred and long for the destruction of Jews. After watching the documentary "Children of Gaza" years back, and watching how the neutral reporter walked away disgusted, I have zero respect for anything pali.

If they want their 7th century religion (like many muslims) and cut off young girl's genitals and knife their own children on the head in a sick ritual, then I have NO sympathy for what happens to them. Let them all die and the world will be better without them. I'm okay with that.
