..and presented to Cary Pahigian at Portland Radio Group, according to RBR. Protesters also outside the building. Cary's response: I do believe he crossed the line. But there also is an issue of free speech. What is the line? And who is the arbiter of the line? -and indicates that the show will continue.
However, the term "free speech" is appropriate for describing relationship between the people and government; not between people and other people/businesses.
It's probably no coincidence that this petition was presented on the International Day of the Woman; yesterday.
At least three Portland-area sponsors have pulled out, including DownEast Energy.
Also, out of all the network commercial avails in Rush's show, now less than half are paid. The remaining are PSA's. And now, even the American Heart Association doesn't want their PSA's on Rush's show!
This has taken on a life of its own; beyond name-calling, but now is a women's issue. Therefore, it's an issue for all of us.
There are large numbers of people, especially in the northern half of Maine, dependent on government programs.
Historically, rural Maine has large numbers of poor families.
Many of the jobs are seasonal, such as tourism and agriculture, and don’t pay much. These poor families may like government programs, but they also hunt, have many firearms in their homes, have several family members in the military, and participate in Fourth of the July parades.
It’s not easy to attract business to Maine.....high taxes, low wages, and high energy costs. Our conservative governor is trying to change all that, and I hope he succeeds.
They got that many faggots in the Marines already? Fighting for the Constitution...I mean...parts of the Constitution, just not that pesky First Amendment thing. I think maybe 5,000 faggots need to be prosecuted for partaking in politics in uniform.
Lesbian: Fat, manless, hairylegged. (Thanks Bloom County!)
Just more proof that liberals are all for censorship. Liberals are the most hate-filled, mean-spirited, fascists!
