Woman says cops shot 7 of her dogs

NATALIA — An elderly woman in Natalia said police there shot and killed seven of her dogs.

Epifania Avalos said Natalia police showed up Feb. 1 prepared to seize her animals, but something went horribly wrong.

“I told them not to do it,” Avalos said. “Please don’t do it. I was crying and I’m still missing my animals and they said ‘no, we have to get rid of them.’”

Residents in Natalia are only allowed to have four pets, Avalos admits to having 15 animals, but said her animals did not have to die.

>>Sorry, I would not consider that person a dog lover.<<

I’m with you.
Fifteen dogs, some of which run the neighborhood and will bite.
She clearly didn’t love them enough to nurture them.

I don’t want to have much to do with cops these days. I pretty much keep my distance because of the “quality” they appear to be recruiting lately.

Who does she think she is criticizing the cops? Doesn’t she know the cops NEVER act inapproriately?

She should consider herself lucky they only shot SEVEN of her dogs... and VERY lucky they didn’t shoot HER, too...

Geez, what an ungrateful b1tch she is...

Yes they should have spent hours and hours catching each dog then spent hours and lots of money caring for them.

We have no shortage of dogs they were not in control, running loose most likely causing all kinds of trouble.

I see nothing wrong with getting rid of these dogs.

Animal control should have been involved here, not the police.

As to the woman's inability to control her own dogs:

This is all her fault. She did not abide by the law and ended up getting her dogs killed. Foolish woman. I bet her house was a disaster. They might want to burn the house down too while they are at it. This is precisely why we have laws. People go to far. 15 animals? Yieks. The stench alone will kill her.

“I feared for my job, and I told him I wasn't going to go anywhere with the information,” he said. “The next day, I got my termination papers.”

He sure as chit going somewhere with the information now....

lolol

Ain’t that the truth?

As bizarre as the cops shoot 7 dogs story is, I find the backstory of this cop talking about going public - then realizing his behind is on the line - just as weird.

“The next day, I got my termination papers.”

Wow! What a coincidence.

(lolol)

We had one crazy renter who had “collected” 27 dogs, in an APARTMENT, and he was not regularly taking them out or cleaning up after them. The place was a freakin’ biohazard!

Due to the fact that none of these dogs had rabies shots, I see nothing wrong with shooting them either, too bad the owner was such a dip shit...her tears mean nothing. The only way to avoid shooting them was animal control, but many area’s don’t even have animal control departments shooting was all that was left...don’t disagree with you at all..

There are souless ghouls among us.

Cops who wantonly kill dogs qualify.

They keep this up and nobody will cooperate with them.
