Hey Bender2, as someone who sorely misses the time he spent in Texas I understand the feeling. Unfortunately, at this point the only word that's likely to make a difference is: lawsuit.
As others have noted, the PC Left has declared all-out war in the culture battle, and they're no longer interested in "talking things out"(not that they ever really were - they just pretended to be). They're now in full "my way or the highway" mode and the only way to deal with them is to defeat them.
Appeasement and compromise merely leaves the Left emboldened to try something similar again at the next opportunity. They need to suffer consequences and defeats that will make it clear to them that even attempting such nonsense is unacceptable.

Of course you are right. It -is- an “all-out” cultural “cold war”.
But they have gained such leverage, in the form of media support and leftist big-government out of Washington, that it will soon no longer be possible to “defeat” them in the arena of reason.
The only “arena” left will be that of brute force.
What then?
