I was hoping Newt had a chance to pick off Tennessee and Oklahoma. To just win Georgia on Super Tuesday is bad news all around.

He won one of ten states. It was his home state. Ouch.

Sorry if you’re a Newt supporter. I’m only trying to address reality, not rub it in.

I’m not convinced there’s a real consensus to take Mitt down. We herald the dedication to the fight, and practically dismiss completely what the ramifications for a Romney nomination are.

Newt seems to have captured the essential dynamics of a Pat Buchanan campaign for the presidency.

Now don’t give up Newt. Romney is counting on you...

I suspect Newt has done well in Oklahoma. Yes, Santorum won but Newt was very strong, at least in my area. Santorum won by less than five votes.
